Combo Club, Electronic, House Music, August 17, 2016
This music collection of Basement Jax The Singles contain a multitude of eclectic electronic and club beats. One of the first songs that drew me to wanting to hear more of their music was the song Rendezvous that I first heard in the early 2000’s when I was stationed in Japan (via a music cd of various artists). There are other great songs on this collection such as Romeo (feat. Kele Le Roc), Where’s Your Heat At (there is a crazy video of the song that is viewable online). Good Luck feat. Lisa Kekaula), Good Luck (Feat. Blue James), and more.

A Fantasy Guide Primer, August 17, 2016
I’m happy to admit that I obtained this kindlebook of Writing Fantasy: The Top 100 Best Strategies For Writing Fantasy Stories by Blaine Hart from the Amazon kindle unlimited program. My mother-in-law recently generously gifted my husband and I with a 2 year Amazon Kindle Unlimited membership and this was one of the books I chose for the kindle unlimited membership. Some of the positives; there is explanation of defining a writing goal such as involving writing a series of stories, giving oneself a due date, the benefits of writing each day even if it is a little bit of free writing, reminding yourself to go over your whys in writing for extra encouragement especially when you may be judged for bravely sharing your writing, physical exercise as a motivational tool for writing (I admit that this has been helping me a great deal especially for my creativity),finding your niche audience, and much more.

Publishing Details, August 17, 2016
This episode of Today’s Book Publishing Landscape from Season 1 of How To Publish Your Book gave me a lot of informative details for me to consider. The speaker of the episode has been affiliated with Writer’s Digest. Some of the information covered just in Episode 1 of How To Publish Your Book; Penguin Randomhouse, Harper Collins, Harlequin Enterprises, Simon & Schuster, Hachette Book Group, and McMillan are some of the major book publishers mentioned in the documentary. Amazon is one of the companies referenced in this episode as a top retailer of books. There is also mention that self-published titles tripled from 2006 to 2011 and more. Obviously after watching this episode I intend to eventually purchase the remaining season within the next 3 months or less.

Intuition Anthem, August 17, 2016
I have originally purchased the Intuition compilation by DJ Encore back in June 5, 2007 and found multiple songs on the collection to be enjoyable. I admit that the song Intuition resonated with me more and more after 2009 when I started undergoing many changes which I acknowledge that I’m responsible for. Anyhow, listening to Intuition by DJ Encore reminds me to also consider my own feelings and intuitive hunches in situations. My soul craves helpful information, even if from critics, that is unbiased advice. From my perspective, my intuition helps me to listen to advice from both my supporters and critics that is both unbiased and helps me sort out the information that is better than what I can come up with from speculative information that applies to someone else. The singing and vocals bring alive the theme of Intuition by DJ Encore.

Classic 90’s Rock Song, August 16, 2016
I remember first hearing this song Spoonman by Soundgarden via one of the local rock radio stations where I lived in the mid-1990’s and via television. The song has brilliant singing and the music flows well with the theme of Spoonman.

Has Influenced My Freestyle Writing, August 16, 2016
Finding out about this book Discover Your Soul’s Path Through The Akashic Records; Taking Your Life From Ordinary to Extraordinary by Linda Howe is a spiritual blessing to me. For one thing, I have to properly credit this author for providing the material that helped inspired me for some of the freestyle writings that I have wrote on my blogs and some that I have even posted on Linkedin back in late 2015/early 2016. Additionally, I’m a heart-centered woman who prefers to see the good in others and is in the process of improving her self-confidence while striking a careful balance between assertiveness and aggressiveness. This book is healing to me because it helps remind me to see the beauty and unlimited potential in myself and others and that even I have a purpose for being here during my current lifetime. Some of the helpful/healing themes in this book; The Lords, masters, and teachers of the Akashic Records who a person can call on when they are accessing their own akashic records (pages 30-31), considering a discipline in alignment with your true heart’s desire and will (page 99), balancing the triangle as a conscious manifestation in action practice (pertaining to chapter nine pages 139-151).

I Saw This Backpack at Costco, August 16, 2016
I was overdue for another bookbag and I feel blessed to say that my husband purchased this High Sierra Business Elite Backpack Black Fits 17'' Laptop with Tablet Storage & Suspended Back Panel for me at Costco on of our recent shopping trips. This bookbag is both comfortable and is perfect to also take on long walks. What I also like about this bookbag is that it has ample room for storage and is sturdy.

I Spotted This Relaxer at the Family Dollar Store, August 16, 2016
As an Amateur reviewer/writer (and not out to undermine paid writers/reviewers), I must make it clear that I purchased the Ultra Sheen Supreme Relaxer Value Pack (Super Version) from my local Family Dollar Store out of my own financial/money pocket (just with a different beauty model pictured) because the 2 relaxer kit was only 6 dollars and 50 cents (basically $3.25 per super version of the relaxer kit). The kit comes with user friendly directions, spatula, gloves, dual purpose hair shampoo, styling and setting lotion which I confess to not using but I might use tomorrow in conjunction with another hair product, gloves, crème relaxer bottles A, and liquid activator bottles B. The positives; The relaxer did a great job with straightening my hair at the bargain price that I paid. The caveats: while affordable this double relaxer kit did not come with hair conditioners and the shampoo amount was not nearly enough for the amount of thick and long hair that I’m blessed with (other people reading this with long andor thick hair may also want to buy additional shampoo, conditioners, and hair moisturizers in conjunction with the Ultra Sheen Relaxer kits that they buy). To say that it was a good thing that I had already bought some Aussie Moist conditioner, V05 Lime Shampoo, and Softee brand Extra Virgin Olive Oil conditioner is an understatement. Aside from that Caveat, I’m still glad that I purchased the Ultra Sheen Supreme Relaxer Kit but I would obviously continue to also purchase additional shampoo, conditioner, and hair moisturizer to be on the safe side. Last, but not least, please understand that as a woman who previously wore naturally curly hair from the summer of 2003 until the spring 2012 I understand that beauty comes in all hair lengths, colors, and sizes and that naturally curly hair is actually pretty trendy and fashionable right now among celebrities and models. However, I prefer to wear my hair straightened to save both time and money especially as I’m happily busier nowadays with both my employment endeavors and fitness/exercise endeavors.

Beauty Find At the Family Dollar Store, August 16, 2016
I must preface this review by making it clear that I’m reviewing this Aussie Moist Conditioner With Pump 29.2 Fluid Ounce as an amateur reviewer/writer who purchased this from a Family Dollar Store (and not to undermine paid reviewers/writers). Anyhow, what I enjoyed about this Aussie Moist Conditioner is the amount of product in the bottle came out to an affordable price and it moisturized my hair when I urgently needed a product to condition my hair after recently relaxing it (however this conditioner is perfect for both natural hair and chemically relaxed hair). Additionally, this Aussie Moist conditioner has a pleasant scent and is listed to contain jojoba seed oil that helps to moisturize the hair. I confess that I used this conditioner with another type of brand shampoo to help me save some money which was: Alberto VO5 Herbal Escapes Kiwi Lime Squeeze Clarifying Shampoo, 15 Ounce.

Bargain Beauty Hair Product, August 16, 2016
I spotted this Softee brand Extra Virgin Olive Oil Hair & Scalp conditioner at the local Family Dollar store close to me and purchased it both as a moisturizer to put in my hair before chemically relaxing it and afterwards. The product has a pleasant scent and did a great job with smoothing my hair both before and after the hair relaxing process. I also like that the product washes out easily via the shampoo process and is affordable for the 5.25 ounces of Extra Virgin Olive Oil Hair & Scalp Conditioner that are in this product.

A Strong Food Enhancer, August 16, 2016
This 18 ounce bottle of Kraft Slow-Simmered Sweet Honey Barbecue Sauce makes leftover meats come out with a good taste of enhanced honey flavor without overpowering the barbecue component. I also recently had this Kraft sweet honey barbecue sauce with leftover pizza which came out tasting better than if I hadn’t applied the sauce.

Balanced Hints of Hickory and Brown Sugar, August 16, 2016
I admit that I recently purchased an 18 ounce bottle of Sweet Baby Ray’s Hickory & Brown Sugar from a Family Dollar store (that is only a ten minute walk at the most) close by where my husband and I currently reside. Anyhow, the brown sugar is definitely pronounced in this sauce yet blends right with certain meats. I enjoyed some leftover barbecue meat from a few days ago that tasted almost as good as on the first day because of this sauce.

Dance Music Meets Indie Music, August 16, 2016
This music cd of Sleeping In The Nothing by Kelly Osbourne has an early 2000’s danceclub vibe to it with subtle hints of Indie dance music. I also remember remember listening to One Word from Yahoo music some time back and my husband even hummed to One Word before. Osbourne also touches on shocking/sensitive themes on this cd such as with the song Don’t Touch Me While I’m Sleeping.

Candid Paris Hilton, August 16, 2016
This book Confessions Of An Heiress: A Tongue-In-Chic Peek Behind the Pose by Paris Hilton covers some of Hilton’s fashion/clothing style pictures such as one photo of her in a yellow dress and another in one of her favorite blue dresses (pages 64-65). Additionally page 92 features one of the photos with her in the caption flying and admitting that she does look at gossip mags and other material such as Vogue magazine. Paris Hilton is also pictured with her sister Nicky Hilton and her friend Nicole Ritchie on page 93. She also includes an honest take on some of her pictures such as on pages 148-149 where she features a hat that she wore for a Philip Treacy party and pictured with Boy George. There is also another look that Hilton dubs Vegas Showgirl Barbie and she confesses that many people obviously paid attention to her that night with the fashion look she was sporting.

Important To Be Receptive To Dystopian Military Plots, August 16, 2016
I admit that I only found out about this book after being introduced to the Last Ship Television TNT series via Entertainment Weekly magazine (back in June 2014).I was in the navy for 8.5 years and naturally I understand that this Last Ship; A Novel book by William Brinkley is obviously different from how the military works in real life (and I also understand that other people who have been in the military andor are still in are going to have different takes on both the tv show the Last Ship and this book). However, this book The Last Ship touches on areas/interests of navy life that are likely to occur. For instance, the narrator pretty much paints a picture of how many of the sailors have music interests as anyone else does: details are included how music tapes from Beethoven, Mozart, Bach, Handel’s Messiah, rock, country, jazz, folk,The Beatles, Woody Guthrie, Madonna, Bruce Springsteen, Whitney Houston etc. A person is going to have to obviously not mind the time period because the narrator does mention music tapes, movie video cassettes, typewriter ribbons etc. Additionally, the time period that the book was written has to be considered because the narrator mentions notifying a character of Signalman Bixby to blinker the message (page 207, multiple online confirm the Signalman rating to have been discontinued).
